Default burning screens too long???? not enough

When burning a screen and the screen rinses most of the emulsion out but not enough that the ink will go through, am I burning it too long or not long enough....I know there is someone out there that knows the answer to this question.
Thanks a bunch

it sounds that you're burning it too long because the emulsion isn't rinsking away. i've had that problem. the design is distringuishable but you still have a problem printing. so expose less time.
hope that's helpful =D

It seems to me you expose it too long but there are many other considerations in order to find your right time

Most people do not burn them long enough. Use a 1500 psi powerwasher on your screens.

Could be overexposed (so it's not all washing out) or underexposed (so too much is washing out, running down the back of the screen, drying in place, and creating a thin film over your print area).

If your positives are light, the first is more likely. If your emulsion coating is especially thick, the second is more likely.

edit: aaaand I took too long to respond Glad you got it sorted
