Default Some questions for silk screening.

I want to start with screen printing myself. I already have 40 hours of experience with screen printing at my school.

some things i like to know.

1. Where can i buy good materials for silk screening online that ships world wide ?

2. What are the best quality inks(paints) for textile ?

3. What is a good emulsion ?

4. Wooden or Alleminium Frames ?

5. What kind of mesh should i take for sharp clean lines ?

at my school they put the emulsion on with clear day light and then just let it dry but i've been reading that everyone uses a dark room for putting the emulsion on the screen how can this be possible ?

I live in the netherlands but i almost cant find a good screen printing company that sells good materials.

Thanks.

Both the diazo type and polymer emulsions that are used by most screen printers are light/photo sensitive and most be kept under light sensitive conditions a non UV Light bulb will work ... I use yellow bug lights available most everywhere... they must be kept this way untill exposed and washed out... Then they can be brought out into normal light.... I have no idea what they possibly could have been using that would still be photo sensistive after drying in a UV (daylight) enviornment....
