Default N00B quesion - Getting plastisol out of carpet

So I printed my first batch of T-Shirts a few weeks ago, and like a noob got white plastisol ink everywhere. I was able to clean it off of almost everything but the rug, which got a huge dollop of it. Now i hear the good news is plastisol does not dry on its own... now I just need to figure out how to get it up.

I would try to take as much off without spreading it using a cloth or tissue or whatever method you can think of then use a little degreaser on a cloth to try work it out of the rug like you would do a stain on carpet, but make sure you check your degreaser for any chemicals which would ruin your rug....

try that at your own risk, it seems like the only way to me though!

Spot guns eat carpet...trust me It shoots the carpet back through the binding.

Hi Mike. If all else fails put a rug over the stained area. Only you will ever know then.

Not sure whether Scotch Guard are similar carpet treatment would help to protect it in future.
