Default If Ecko does it.......screen printing on jeans

So the other day I was watching TV and saw the commercial by Ecko, I saw they do screen printing on their jeans...makes me think if I should forget about heat pressing and go into screen printing...What do you all think?

Lots of companies do screen printing for their retail line.

Some companies do heat transfers (like plastisol transfers or vinyl transfers) for their line.

Which you go with is totally up to you and what your business goals and preferences are.

Well, I'd pretty much always recommend that, just on principle

That's the thing though... post this here in the screenprinting section and most people will say you're mad to do heat press if you could be screenprinting. Post it up in the heat press section and you'll hear the opposite.

Our opinions on it aren't really all that valuable. You have to read between the lines, look at what each print method can do, etc. and draw your own conclusions.

If you put it to a poll, all you're testing is who has the bigger cheer camp.

I agree with you Lewis, i think people will always endorse the embellishment that they are doing. I think this is the same for equipment, software, and garments. I think people choose the things they like and want to endorse their choices to others. The bigger cheer section is always going to win. .... JB
