Pritting big transparencies? Help
Can anybody direct me to somebody who can print soemthing bigger than an 8.5x11?
I have a shirt I want to print pretty large but Staples and Office Max can't do it.

Re: Pritting big transparencies? Help I've never had problems getting Kinkos to print large - even if I had to bring in the oversized transparency paper myself.
Worst case scenario - print it tiled on 8.5 x 11 sheets a piece them together.

Re: Pritting big transparencies? Help James, firstly love the screen name! Have a Flaming Moe on me!
I'll give my local Kinkos a buzz. If they can't do it I'll piece the image together but I was worried abut the edges of the film creating a shadow and washing out?

Re: Pritting big transparencies? Help Try to get a sample print first...depending on the Kinkos, they may not print dark enough, from my experience.
I've had to layer 2 transparencies together to make the film opaque enough, which, when tiling pieces together, can get very tedious.
Also, you may be able to find large pieces of vellum to print on...maybe be easier depending on the design.

Re: Pritting big transparencies? Help Jeff, haha - I'd love one, as long as it's an original, not a Flaming Meaux.
If Kinkos can do it and they use a laser printer, bring along a can of Toner Aid and spray it to make the image more opaque, rather than doubling-up. If they use an inkjet though, this won't work and you might have to get two prints so you can double.
This is a discussion about Pritting big transparencies? Help that was posted in the Screen Printing section of the forums.
