Question I think I've finally got it right?

Hey all,

So, I've been making a few shirts with screen print. Been a lot longer learning curve than with transfers and vinyl.

My prints are getting much sharper and better looking.

My question is this. I've been curing with the flash dryer for 45 seconds and white ink on dark 50/50 t's doesn't crack when I do the stretch test. The first few I did I washed them one time and dried them to make sure the ink didn't fall off. According to what I have read on here and other places I should be good to go.

Correct? I just don't want to start having shirts come back with poor quality prints. I've never had a problem with vinyl and ink jet transfers coming back or anybody complaining about the quaility. And I don't want to start now!!!

Thanks!
Craig

I suggest you get an infrared heat gun and shoot the print, then you'll know for sure. There only about $100 dollers.

If you can stretch it without cracks, you should be fine. Just really stretch it, don't just tug it a little.

And if the ink wasn't cured when you washed it, you would know.

John, I forgot to mention that I have a temp gun already. Seems like I'm hitting the right temps, between 318 and up.

Should I do anything else to test the prints?

Thanks
Craig
