Something like MR Fusion sounds good but I'm also looking into optional ones. Electrical, that is. I noticed SilkScreeningSupplies have a variety of them and I also found Anatol, Workhorse and Brown from somewhere else.
These days I got a poor excuse for a dryer, 'Diamond Power' it says on it... It's old, I can tell you, with old wiring inside etc. We've had to do some welding and rewiring on it during the last 10 months and I'm waiting for it to break down soon.
My new requirements are that, first of all, I need to cure larger print areas than before. A print 16" wide must cure easily all over without having to worry wether or not I place each shirt accurately in the middle of the belt.
Speed is of course another issue.
Third issue is NOISE. My old one is very noisy and it's driving me nuts. If I can have a silent one, it would be a bliss...
More importantly though, the basic things must be in order - correct heat, heat consistency and accuracy and reliability.
So before I make any further plans, I'd like to read some personal experiences and recommendations. Then I'll know which ones to consider. I really can't describe my needs any better at this point.
Oh! And of course I don't wanna pay any more than I have to. But I don't wanna save money on the wrong things either. Just so I get enough bang for my buck.
I was in the same boat as you last winter, I was running an American that was about 20+ years old, always something breaking or melting or short circuiting. Finally a part broke on one of the pac-man looking circuit boards and it could not be found anywhere. I was laughed out of electrical supply stores all over the city. Anyway I bought a Workhorse powerhouse quartz 3011. I love it, no worries for almost a full year now, only drawback I found was that the dryer is not self venting, no blower inside, so you have to make an additional modification to your stack but it can be done for less than a hundred bucks.
I was pretty worried about what to buy and even more worried about something like quartz that I never used before but it cures great and runs great. Easy on the power bill too.
If I recall everything delivered was about $5000-$6000
Also I may have paid a little more to get it here in a hurry, I was surprised to find that there was a normal 6 week waiting period but I needed it fast and they delivered about 2 days before Christmas.
In all honesty I have no use whatsoever for their manual presses but this machine has worked out very well.

That one ain't too bad. Does anyone ship these worldwide? Gotta get me one of those. I think I could let an electrical engineer take care of the power/plug requirements to fit our European ones and start curing.
Of course I'd be paying a sum of money for the actual shipping and customs duties but something tells me I'd still save a bunch of money. At least compared to what I'd have to pay my local equipment supplier.
Or perhaps I could have a buddy of mine in the States send it over... Does anyone know who ships conveyor dryers worldwide?
I don't mean to bump the thread but I just bumped into (pun intended) Panther dryers, which seem quite suitable and even affordable. I think it's a British dryer manufacturer.
The specs seem good and all. Anyone have any more info on them?
