Anyone have a method for printing opaque colors- gold / white on dark polyester t-shirts?
Tried regular ink-ain't gonna work. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

PolyWhite 11117HT is from Wilflex, I have tried and it works properly in 100% Polyester garments. You can use it as an underbase, flash (adjust setting so that the ink is just dry to the touch, do not overflash as it can result in poor adhesion of overprint colors) and then print on top the genesis super gold. Bleed resistance is excellent, and to optimize it, set your dryer belt at the highest possible speed while still ensuring that the ink reaches 320°F, that way the ink's heat exposure is minimal.
Hope this can help
Thanks,

Got some poly-white series one-i think- from Nazdar. Used it as an underbase, then printed the super gold. Works like a charm. When I finish this job, i've got to post some pics, this one is DEMANDING!

Sounds like you have it figured out but in case you need another way I use Rutlands dyno grey. It is a first down grey for printing on 100% poly. It blocks all dye migration very well. It was developed for under armor and now is available for the rest of us.

Yes, these are really nice prints, like the way you choke-back your underbase, there is no white picking up, congratulations!

Rutland makes inks that work very well in both white and gold. I'm not sure which gold but the Supreme white works well for both poly and cotton. I have experienced dye migration even when using a poly ink if the temperature gets too high, watch your flash and cure times...
