im having a problem with drying white ink when its dry it has a rough look-its looks grainy with small looking bubbles-prior to drying it looks ok need help
need help pronto please-white ink is drying rough and with bubbles-its not the screen tension-screen is cleared of all ink-looks good wet-but dries rough-please help

Sorry 2 say but yes-im using a flash to do final cure - almost have enough money 4 dryer - should i lower the time of drying or make greater the distance from the shirts to the heater - right now its about 4 inches
There is nothing wrong to cure your prints with a flash cure unit, but if you can get a dryer all the best. I think the first thing you should do is to get a heat gun or some thermo-strips to know your flash temperature, and then make your adjustments, plastisol ink cures at 320°F
Regarding the mesh, with a higher count you will deposit less ink on the garment, yes it 's for fine details and halftones. I don't know what are you printing, so I can't really recommend you a mesh count, but if you are printing heavy block areas a lower mesh can be used.
