Hi
I was hoping someone would have some tips for printing out channels across two sheets of film. By that I mean what is the easiest way I can print a channel from my r1800 printer but have it in two halves across two sheets of A3. That way I could print a much larger image, but I am struggling to come up with an easy solution to split up all of my channels into two halves. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers
Paul
I already done it.
You can not have a real A2 (2 x A3) because you need a common registration target to align your film, and you need to overlap the print.
So you create a A2 file, enlarge your A3 design and copy it in the A2 canvas.
Duplicate the channel, delete the part which are not needed and only keep the common overlap area.
Put a registration target on the bottom and upper side.

Is that clear ?
Thanks for the info. I'm not a 100% certain I follow. You are saying I need a common registration mark on each piece of A3 film, where they overlap, is that correct? How do you set up your A2 canvas? Do you just use guidlines set at A3 dimensions with a bit of overlap in the middle? Thanks for your help.
