What kind of press are you using? When the screen is in the down position on the press, is it at least 1/8 inch off the shirt?

OK, well that eliminates the obvious.

Why don't you walk us through your steps. How high is the screen off the shirt? What type of ink are you using? What position is the squeegee as you do your strokes, etc. Where is it getting messed up after the first print? How do you correct it when it does mess up?

Do you get a blurry print ?
Have you check if you screen is parallel to the platen ?

What mesh and what kind of ink do you use ?

I had this problem when using 110 mesh screen with a too much reduce ink.
The first print was Ok, but after some ink was bleeding, and going under the screen.

Yeah, to be specific. Pull ink across the image with squegee, first. Then lower the screen to the shirt then push the ink back down across it.

Just in case you aren't doing that.

Oh, also. I bet if it's TOO high, it could cause a problem with too much ink through it, or if it's unlevel.
