No question, you should have no issues. I have Corel 9 on a Vista machine. 12 and CS2 or pretty recent versions so there should be no issues. Take a quick look on Corel's and Adobe's forums to be sure.
You can install it all you want, but you will not be able to change printers from within photoshop cs2. In vista, microsoft removed the "Printer..." button from the "Page Setup" dialog. If you have more than 1 printer, this is a real PITA!!! The only way to change printers is exit photoshop, set a new default printer, set the defaults in the default printer, then relaunch photoshop.

Fred, Are you talking about from within Photoshop? I am able to change printers from the Print Dialog box.
fred it sounds to me like you missed a couple vista updates. They released a update to fix the printer problem.

Vista has fixed many bugs. There are a lot that still need fixed though, believe me I bought my system at CES in Vegas when they launched Vista. It works a lot better after service pack 1 just make sure you back everything up first as it took a couple of times to install correctly.

i honestly think that they aret gonna fix much either theyre already talking bout launching windows 7 next year. so im wondering if its even worth getting a new pc....i mean cuz will they allow to upgrade?
If they do it will have the same issues at the start. It is usually not a vista problem any more. It is the fact that a lot of companies have not released drivers to make their product vista compatible.
