Default questions from a newbie...again...

I have unwisely invested in a 6/1 press that cant actually hold registration for a complete run of 36 shirts and thus am thinking it is time to invest even MORE $$$ into this venture. So, i am wondering ppl's opinions...i can get a M&R Chameleon but it will take some serious financial wangling...or even a Riley Hopkins Areo...the areo seems to be almost 1/2 the M&R...both with the micro reg. Is there a tremendous difference between the 2 presses? is there more to it than just how the registration holds up? Am i lost? Am i missing something???? PLEASE HELP!?!?!??!?! Gracias in advance!

The Chameleon is probably a little more stoutly made, and while not cheap, probably worth the money. I never see any complaints about them. The Riley Hopkins press should be good, but the joystick micro is unique and quite a bit different to use in registering a job. Some love it, some don't, and I wouldn't buy the press without messing around with one to see how easy it was FOR ME to use the joystick. Other presses to look at are the Vastex 2000HD series (which is what I have), the Antec Legend, and the Hopkins/BWM presses (which are the old style Hopkins presses that Riley Hopkins originally designed).
