Capillary Flm is good if you don't or can't use a scoop to coat your screens.

I looked online and the price on the film is way costy compared to emulsion. Is there a reason why?

I love it. Less chemicals, minimal dry time, crisp prints. And you only have to use what you need. If you're doing a 4x4 print, you can cut a piece of cap film 5x5 and you're good to go, no waste. I've had the same 300 foot roll for like a year now.
