Re: ANy household products that work as well as the costly chems the suppliers sell ? 1. Bleach works well removing emulsion, but you have to let the screen sit in bleach for a long time - up to a few hours even.
2. You can try using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove ghost images from water based. I've had success with that, although I'm not sure of the longterm effects of using it on the screen. From what I understand, the eraser is just like a really really fine sandpaper, so there might be some screen breakdown if you use it all the time.
3. For ink remover, if it's oil based ink - mineral spirits. If it's water based ink, then your best bet is to wash it immediately with laundry detergent and warm water. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get out. |
