Default Brown ELECTRIC automatic

Just got back from ISS New England.

Brown (harco) was there and they had an electric automatic that I was very impressed with.

runs off 110, quiet, fast, and smaller than most autos.

seems that electric would be better than air for a couple reasons:

1: electric power is more consistant than air.

2: less expensive "fringe" equipment needed, ie. compresor, chiller...

3: the unit was super quiet and smaller for comfortable use in smaller spaces.

4: Seems that air power would be affected by weather (humidity) where electric wouldnt be.

5: "seems" maintenece would be less epensive. No replacing valves and seals, hoses...etc.

I was told that other companies do not make electric cause they are too expensive,

Is there another side to this story? can anyone tell me why air is better?

I saw equipment by Brown at ISS Atlantic City... Do you know how much this auto costs, and how large it is? You said small and whenever I need to get an automatic down the road, space will be an issue.

Hi Brent,

there are a few different models, the one I looked at was a 6 color, 7 station, and it was 84"x84"x60", it would fit where my manual sits right now (my manual is 100" across). there is also a 6/8 that was 120"x120"x60" that has a larger print stroke.

the unit I looked at rang in at 32k with the quartz flash

the show price for the unit on the floor was 25K and the quartz flash (2k) came with it

you can check out the website for more specific info, I beleive pricing is listed on it as well.
