Hello to everyone.
i am a graphic artist by profession and I am New to This T-shirt industry. I can design a t-shirt for print of any kind , can you tell me where to start? first by printing 500 t-shirts of my design and there is a distributer ready to take. is it cheaper to buy my own t-shirt buy heat press machine and get it screen printed on special release paper somewhere else to heat press the t-shirt myself?. i need advise from anyone willing to help.

it seems the first thing you will want to do is get your design nailed down. then research what blanks you want your design printd on. once you figure that out search for your screen printer and get pricing. At qty's of 500 the prints should be reasonable. your better off having a printer do it then heat press (in my opinion) if you want them all made at once.

another option is to have the heat press transfers made, that way you can press each shirt to order and avoid having to carry a huge inventory and also keeps you from being stuck with 75 red size smalls that no one seems to buy.
