Re: waterbased vs. plastisol In order for water based ink to properly cure, it must be dryed thru a conveyor dryer with forced air in order to remove all the moisture from the ink. The time it takes depends upon dryer temp & belt speed.
Most printers like plastiol ink as it will not dry up in the screen, whereas water based ink must be printed quickly before it begins to dry & block the screen.
On the other side, water base ink has a really soft print, but it limited to mostly white/lite garments. |
