i just purchased saati pv emulsion,i never used it before-i always used ulano qtx and it took 4 min. for good stencil-anyone have idea how long to expose w/ saati emulsion compared to ulanos 4 min. mark
what mesh count and what kind or exposure unit are you using
I use that same emulsion and i burn anywhere from 3-7 minutes depending on the image and mesh, on a ranar uv light table.
on my 110 screens i burn for 5 minutes on a basic design but i am also using a light table with a cover plate, with 4 lights about 3-4 inches away.
you will probably have to increase your time by a minute or so. Are you getting a lot of wash out or just not real good prints such as parts are still washing away but some stay? Its a real easy emulsion to work with just give it a few time tests.
i just coated a couple screens about an hour ago-i have a fan on them-the seller told me it should be ready to expose in about an hour-gona wait a bit longer-when i used ulano qtx it was good at 4 min. but i did notice a haze or film in the stencil after it dried maybe bad preping? anyway im gona try 2.5 min. because the seller said it should take half the time as ulano-and they never lie

if you can, let it dry for a little longer. I keep mine in a dark room with a heater and let dry for two hours. As for time, I would have to have a big solid design for it to burn in 2.5 minutes.
Oh and did you shake the container before you used it? Not to say that is a major cause but i think it works better.
