Default High quality screen printing

i have seen several japanese tshirts contain extra steps in the printing process to achieve a quality far superior to any designer shirt i have ever seen..
a uv or flexible clear finish it seems was added in some places like spot varnishes in the graphics / print industry.
(to enhance and prolong screen quality considerable. and by adding effects to


I am in need of places that provides a top quality finish / screens like this?
how is it achievable?

several of these tshirt bound images are portraits and need utmost quality and longevity
any help greatly appreciated.

The clear gel like part of the shirt is probably just clear gel ink. Any screen printer can do this process as it just requires different ink.

great thanks ! whats the name it goes by? & what about the higher quality screen printers , beter gradiations, color thickness and overall highest quality especially for portraits.
so many shirts i see dont hold up after 5-10 washes with a photo image.

It's possible that the t-shirts you saw weren't printed using screen printing.

It's just a plasitsol ink with no pigment.
