If you are just doing it for a hobby, it is just ok.
If you are thinking of making your own designs and selling them get yourself a quality heat press, a good printer and some pigment inks and good transfer paper.
Look in the popular search tags link on the left and you will find a lot of great information about what equiptment t-shirt pros are using. really not too difficult, but the better the equiptment the better your results.
