Default Reclaiming an old screen

I have two screens with emulsion that has been on them for about a year. I used Franmar's emulsion remover (Strip-e-do), but it just lightened most of it and knocked a few parts out. What is left is definitely more than a ghost image and will not come up with the Franmar.

My question is, should I get a de-hazer? Are they stronger or weaker than emulsion removers? Are there any other options, or particular products anyone can suggest?

How have you been trying to rinse them off?

I have saved quite a few screens with my pressure washer and you might think about trying one at a car wash.

It may take a bit and you don't want to blast the screen right up close, but it might be a easy fix.

I've just been using a regular hose. If I went to a car wash, you mean just use the hose they have there? Should I bring the emulsion remover and use it before I spray it with the car wash hose?

Thanks.. but I kinda don't want to have to buy a new screen every time I need to change the images on the ones I have.

Same process as if you would normally be doing, instead of course you have a little more help...

Remember it may take a bit and at first don't put the end of the "wand" hose right up against the screen. Work it back and forth till it breaks up.

Hopefully you didn't have any emulsion remover dry on to the screen.

Get a good haze remover, apply it both sides and pressure wash. If that doesn't work have your frame re-stretched. That should be less expensive than buying a new one.
