Default Miracle Screen Cleaner

Ok, this is for new people and those who want to save money.

I got a gallon of MEAN GREEN Super Strength Cleaner from the Dollar General Store for $4.00 USD

It is a multipurpose cleaner/detergent.

I mixed it 4 ounces per quart of water and tried cleaning the plastisol ink out of a screen.

Man, it really does a good job.

It takes a little more work than the expensive stuff, but for .23 cents per gallon, hey, why not.

Plus, there is no odor like mineral spirits, and it's an excellent hand cleaner as well.

Thanks! I've been looking for a good screen cleaner. Does it stink?

Smile Re: Miracle Screen Cleaner

We used to use Simple Green from Costco when we were printing in the 80's.
Things were a little more primitive back then. I wasn't sure if it would cause a reaction with the new (to me) emulsions so I have been reordering the product that my supplier recommended when we got back in the business a couple of years ago.

Yes, Simple Green is a little more than the Dollar Store stuff - but then some people are on islands and may not have that available.

Thanks for the reminder - I'm going to give it a try.
