Need to Register?

I have to make a move from my storefront location soon and looking at all the new equipment out there was wondering if you guys though the old manual, 4 station press was obsolete? It looks like transfers and DTG might be worth the investment in the long run. Any opinions out there?

As someone that has used both method i would say that using an DTG is less labor intensive and less messy when doing White and Light Colors.

When you get to dark printing the the steps for DTG are still a little less than screenprinting but with screenprinting you get a higher quality product. Dark printing with DTG is very challenging and you don't always get consistent results.

Probably less labor intensive, but the frustration level when things go haywire with digital equipment is worse. At least with something that is strictly mechanical, if you learn how to use it, you're in business. It's bad enough having to fiddle with inkjets just for film output without relying on them to actually produce the shirt.
