Default Reducing "dot gain" help.

I was hoping the experts could shed some light on "How to reduce dot gain?"

I just finished printing a two color chest logo with some thin text. Sometimes the text would merge together due to dot gain. Resulting in unclear text.

What I did was... Load the navy blue shirt, set the off contact to 1/8 of an inch, printed red, flash, printed white.

The off contact sounds a bit high.

Some things you can do to lower dot gain.

Use a harder squeegee.

Use less angle on the squeegee.

Use a higher mesh screen.

Use a longer exposure time.

Dot gain compensation is mainly acomplish when creating your artwork, in your case for the thin text, use kerning so the letters in your text will be more separated.
