Default Plastisol Transfer Printer

Hello:

I would like to throw something out there i am working with a few people at a local university and also a few more people heavy into circuitry and also fabrication. I am in the process of trying to design a printer to print plastisol transfers with plasti ink based either off the Brother or Epson type of Port style print heads. I think it will let the ink through no problem. We have been throwing around ideas and writing alot of schematics and ideas down but i was wondering if anyone ever thought of it as well????? Any info would be good to hear and ideas as well. WIll get some pics up as soon as we have some of our printer built.

Also i forgot to say we may also try an old pen plotter type of printer as well... we are trying to figure out which one would be more reliable and feasible.

Seems like this would be pretty tough to do, based on the consistency of even the thinnest plastisols. You would have to enlarge the print head nozzles, which would lower the resolution considerably, I would think.
