My Question is: What quality comes out of screen printing directly on 50/50 t-shirts.

The reason i ask is because they are soft shirts and i don't want the plastisol to leak through.

Also what mesh would you suggest. Thanks!

I don't notice any difference in quality between silkscreening on 50/50 and 100% cotton.

Mesh count will depend more on your design than material. What is your design, how many colors, any half tones, small type, fine lines, are you printing on darks, etc.?

Thanks for the feedback. the design is all one color. text and logo with no fine lines. I was thinking of using a 200 mesh which shouldnt be a problem.

my main concern was about the actual printing. ive been searching on this Forum and everyone is talking about plastisol Transfers on 50/50 shirts. i thought maybe it didnt soak through the material more than direct printing.

Basicall i love the feel of 50/50 and want to use it but i dont want the design to look or feel heavy.

maybe just thinning out the ink will help a little?
