 Who here screenprints their own plastisol transfers?
I've been trying to get the hang of this and can't get a good transfer of plastisol when using my heat press. I am using Trans-60 transfer papers from ValleyLito, Union Ultrasoft Ink and a 9x12 Hix Hobby Lite heat press. After I print the image on the transfer papers, I flash them for about 10 seconds. When I go to press them onto a garment, not all of the ink will come off the transfer sheet. I know these sheets are 60/40 hot-split, but I don't get an even release of the ink. There are some spots on the design that will not transfer to the garment. Any suggestions? |
