Adding a heat transfer press to screen printing shop
I do screen printing and vinyl signs, I am thinking of adding a heat trans fer press. How many people that do screen printing also have a heat press? do you use it alot? I have a numbering system for my riley hopkins press but I only have 22 screens and it becomes a pain to reclaim the screens when a customer wants a different type font for there numbers. I was thinking about doing vinyl numbers for the back of softball jerseys and screen printing the logo on front. anyone else do that?

u asked and answered ur own questions. with the heat press and vinyl cutter u can also offer indivisual names too without having to do all those screens. i don't no much about screenprinting, i use transfers, but i do know any avenue to offer more to the customer is always well vested.

Exactly what we do Use vinyl for numbers and names and print the team name or whatever. Using vinyl might be a little more expensive to use than printing but when u factor in the time of making and cleaning screens, vinyl wins out.
