What kind of ink?

Plastisol: probably won't have much around the house. You'll want to get a screen wash for that. Citra Paste works well and doesn't smell all that bad, supposed to be drain safe. I got a sample of some Screen Wash #147 (might've been Solvex...) that works brilliantly, dries quick, smells awful, and I'm pretty sure it took a year off the back end of my life. Works as a good spot remover too may be effective as an antiassailant.

Speedball waterbased stuff: Should usually come off with Windex if it hasn't dried too hard yet.

I don't want to be a jerk, but try not to call it paint. Some people get really testy about that. Sorta like calling the your computer monitor a TV, or your keyboard a typewriter.

Ive had success using Citristrip (different than Citripaste) paint stripper to remove both ink and emulsion. Its available at most hardware stores in the paint stripper section. Apply it with a cheapo bristle brush and keep working it for about 20 minutes, then wash it off. Repeat as necessary.
