emulsion - was using QTX, just got some Lawson SBQ-510, half the price, havent tried it yet
adhesive - Lawson textite #1
tape - cheapo Duck brand packing tape ($1 at walmart, works perfect)
emulsion remover - Imagemate 660
degreaser - Greased lightning
press wash - Lawson PW-305
degradent - Lawson ID-360

I live pretty close to Lawson, so I am trying to switch to using as many of their products as possible, plus the sales guys are great.

I would also be interested in knowing how the pallet tape works for anyone. Its pricey, but the spray adhesive is a real pain with my setup, gets all over everything.

Emulsion - Murakami TXR
Degreaser - Simple Green
Press Wash - CCI's TS305
Emulsion Remover - CCI's ER35
Haze Remover - CCI's Liquid Renewit
Tape - depends on the screen and the application...3" white for static screens & registration marks, or 3" purple for retensionables (Newman)

Emulsion - Ulano QX-1.
Degreaser - Greased Lightning.
Press Wash - Easisolv 842.
Emulsion Remover - Easiway Easistrip.
Haze Remover - Easisolv 701.
Tape - Either the good 3M masking tape or cheap packing tape, I've found some at a Dollar Tree store that I swear was as good as the blue R-Tape for $1, but when I bought more, I didn't notice it was a different brand (thin & brittle).
Texblend spot remover from Texsource.
Just switched to ANC Platinum spray tack/flash tack
Sometimes I have acetone around for cleaning ink from printing signs.
Sprayaway Toner Aide for positives.

hey midwaste - I hate spray adhesive too. right now we are using textac which comes in a gallon jug and looks like elmer's. put on a coat with a foam paintbrush, and cleans up with soap and water. once it's too fuzzy to use, wipe the fuzz off with a damp brush and flash it to get it sticky again. one application and I can use it for a couple days, or several hundred shirts. tried it because everything in my shop was covered with a sticky layer of fuzz. including the inside of my nose!

macmiller - for packing tape try out uline.com's tape. we used to buy packing tape from target ($1.88 a roll, cheapest I found) but these rolls are 4x as long as the store rolls and are $1 each if you get 72. haven't been able to find a better deal yet.

I am gonna check prices on some of the products you guys are using. I am paying about $60 a gallon for my emulsion and I don't love it. bet there's something better out there... thanks for the info, please keep it coming!

Thanks Aces, I hear ya with the nose hairs, its the arm hair sticking straight up that bugs me, heh.

I seriously recommend anybody thats buying screen tape try out some regular old packing tape. It works as well, if not better than $5 buck a roll blue screen crap. As long as you fold it back over itself when you pull it off, you wont get any residue left behind. And if you do, just use a piece of masking tape to poke at it, comes right off. Like I said, I use Duck brand from walmart, about 2 inches wide, 55 yds long, $1, cant beat it.

I also use acetone dabbed on a paper towel to get ink smudges off shirts, before or after curing. Its not perfect, but it works most of the time.

aces, i've been wanting to try the non-aerosol glue, i've heard from some it sucks to work with, but have heard good things too. i get sick of the spray everywhere and it's sounds more economical, too. i'm more cheap than safe or "green"!

midwaste, great tip on the tape, the packing tape is the worst about residue, i'll have to try that tomorrow!
