Default screen printed t-shirt sticking to my skin when it gets hot

I just rec'd my first run of shirt from Jakprints. My concern is that it's sticking to my skin from the printing on the front when my body is moist. Is that a problem? All my other tshirts i buy in the stores don't have this problem. Is this the type of screen printing they used that is causing this problem? What type of printing companies normally used ex. Ed Hardy, Famous Stars and Straps, DC?

Thanks!

Have you washed the tshirts before wearing them? I could only assume that your skin is sticking to the front because the paint is too far into the fabric and soaked behind. Do you feel the paint or see it if you turn it inside out? If so then that is your problem, if not I could only suggest washing it as the label suggests.

I'm not sure of the printing style, but have you contacted your printer and told them of your concerns? If you did contact them. what did they say? ...... JB

When i flip it inside out...i can see a slight touch of the paint seeping in the fabric? Is there a way to prevent this or a different printing style? Or should this is something Jakprints can fix. Also, I did not wash the shirt yet. Hopefully after washing the shirt it will take care of the problem.

that stickyness youre talkin about is called spray adhesive we use it in the industry to keep shirts steady on the pallet while we print just flipp all the tees inside out and rub them on each other it should go away with the lint covering it up.

could be the adhesive used to hold the shirts on the pallets, i used to get that when i used the web adhesive so i switched to the mist adhesive.

Do you have a very large print on the front of the t-shirts?

It is not the ink causing the shirt to stick to your skin. It is most likely the spray adhesive they used for their pallets. It washes out when machine washed.

Ed hardy, FS, and DC use different inks depending the on the design they are going for, sometimes they use plastisol, sometimes discharged inks, and other times waterbased inks.
