This is actually my second screen, on the first one I used a vinyl cutout to expose the screen and it worked okay. I didn't have the equipment to make a film positive.
Now I have attempted to make a film positive printed with fast ink and using fast rip on my Epson 1800 printer. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I really wanted to see what halftones looked like on a screen when developed. I think the film positive turned out fine. I exposed the screen for 5 min. with the floresent tubes exposure unit. When I went to wash the screen out I don't know if I sprayed it too hard or if it didn't develop long enough or too long. I suspect it might have something to do with the mesh size and dot size which I'm still learning about. I used a 110 mesh but not sure about the rest.
I have attached a photo of the film positive, the screen, and the shirt to this post. I hope someone can give me some input on what I did wrong. Thanks so much.
