Wink Please explain Screen Filtration/Recirculation System

Need help!

I am about to purchase a washout booth for home/garage printing setup. I am curious about the recirculation systems and the filtrations sytems. I assume the will clean the impurities so that you can reuse them, but does that mean that the water is clean and can go down the drain.....

I really need this info before I make my purchase because i dont want to violate and laws. I also want to keep my environment as "green" as possible. I really need to understand the benefits of these kinds of systems.

PLEASE HELP!
Can someone explain the system thouroughly?

Can someone explain the pros and cons of this sytem?

Can someone reccomend an affordable system?

Thanks,
NAI

Nai, usually all that means is that the dirty water goes down a filtration system. Usually it's just three different meshes that catch all of the mess in the water, and then the water goes to a drain. You can make a wash out booth for $100.

Here is a video of a recirculation tank from the silkscreeningsupplies.com website.

Good luck!

Thanks, But what is the scoop on making the washout booth for 100 bucks? Do you have the design plans or instructions?

Heres the website that I went off of when building mine. I don't have plans but it was pretty easy to figure out. I had a lot of the materials sitting around. He says it costs around 200-225 total, but you could probably make it for less depending on what you use. Still better than a thousand or so dollars.

Remember to add a Ground Fault Interrupter circuit to prevent risk of electric shock or fire while you are standing on that wet floor, turning off the light switch.
