Default Using Vinyl instead of Emulsion

I saw on another thread that someone used a vinyl cutter to cut out their design instead of burning it with emulsion. Then put the vinyl decal on the frame, and printed. I couldn't find anything else on this site, but I found an other tutorial, and the process seems pretty accurate and a lot less messy.

Anyone have any experience doing this, or advice on it?

Ive done it a few times but it dosnt seem to hold up that long. So its good when that guy comes in for like 12 one color shirts and you just dont want to mess around with burning a screen. Also take the vinyl off as quick as you can cause the residue from the vinyl kinda pisses off the mesh so if you get it off quickly you shouldnt have many problems hope that helps

It does work but the Ulano knife cut films are better.

There's a few threads here about it, some people have done a hundred prints or so at a time before the vinyl starts to unstick. As said above, it's a great way to do a quick run, I do it myself.

it is ok for 30-45 prints, with the vinyl applied on the t-shirt side, at least this is my experience with this method.

Can you run knife cut film through a vinyl cutter? If you can, does anyone have any experience doing that?

Maybe this isnt the place to ask this..I bought a roll of A3A 40"x150" Ulano Amberlith at the DickBlick outlet store for $3.69.
What is this stuff for? Water/solvent resistant?
