Hey all,
I've about decided I need to upgrade from just doing heat transfers and vinyl and start offering full screen print services as well.

I have only 1 problem. I currently work out of a 10x16 outside shop building. I have about half of it left to utilize with a press and all the other stuff needed for screen print.

Is there a machine preferably 4-6 color 1 station that can be used in such a small area?

Also, I have windows on both ends and a small skylight above the door. When developing screens will I need to black them out or can I get by without having to cover them?

I'm sure as the summer goes along I will have more questions as I decide rather I can do this or not.

You can use a table-top manual press, takes up about 6 x 6 feet at the most, and the rest of the space you can use for the flash dryer, exposure area, wash bay, etc.

When exposing and washing out your screens you'll need pretty much complete UV-safe light, so sunlight will make your life extremely difficult. If you can get a UV-safe lightbulb and a small lamp you'll make it much easier for yourself.
