Default Aluminum Screens

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just want to ask if anyone knew where I could find aluminum screens for a really good price. Thanks!

I found a website that will restretch aluminum frames and it's suppose to be cheaper than buying new ones. I plan to purchase the retensional frames later but is this a good option for now?

David, how is the quality of those screens? A lot of my aluminum frames aren't flat, which I'm getting quite tired of. Some have little holes in them and now that I'm using a dip tank they take liquid in which later leaks out during vacuum-aided burning and on press. Annoying problems so I'm looking for a new place to get screens, or getting my previous suppliers to guarantee great screens, flat and sealed.

It costs just as much or more sometimes to restretch than to buy new ones- depending on who you go to. I have gotten 23x31 aluminums with 230 mesh for 30.00 in lots of 6. I think they were from here

Thanks for the tip. I like their prices indeed. I'll probably order from them later this week.
Have you ever gotten aluminum screens from them that don't lie flat?
I like the lifetime guarantee on the mesh.

For good aluminum screens, try PoconoScreen.com. They're customer service is sometimes lacking, but they do make nice screens.

Phillip, do you ever get not-flat screens from Pocono? I'm on a quest for perfectly-made screens!

You might try

Aluminum and Wood Screen Print Frames - GM Graphics

They had the lowest prices of anybody I talked to. I work for a school district that can only do purchase orders so they wouldn't take our order.

Hmmm...I don't know. I don't buy any static frames anymore. Once I started using retensionables, I could never go back!

For perfectly flat frames, I think you should take a look at the Hix Retens.
