Default What type of ink used in these vintage prints?

I see these types of shirts on lots of websites, and I was wondering what type of ink is used. Are they just water based, or process water based? I was wondering how to make such a faint print as in the second and third image? I'm from central Mississippi, so the majority of what I see is spot color plastisol, and an occasional process plastisol print. Nothing too special. I've been experimenting with plastisol discharge, but the prints still don't seem as soft as these type shirts below.
(sorry, insert image not working for some reason)

It's hard to tell from the pictures. Each one may possibly be using a different method. The website doesn't indicate? My first thought on the yellow shirt is sublimation, but that only possible if the shirt is polyester. What site are they from?
