can i use silk screen as a one color logo on fabric? washable and ironable? Hi there Can someone help me please I am manufacturing garments made of 100% light cotton fabric (thread count 22 X 18 per square cm) Before sending those garments to market I need to fix the logo on the fabric. Logos are very small in size (in the range of 1cmX 4cm up to 2cm X 5cm) and one color only The only problem I have is that logos should be heavy duty washable and withstand ironing. I went through the site some members were recommending plastisol then others said that it will not withstand ironing. Then i had an idea to check silk screen printing, found out that its good for me because my logs are one color only. My question is: can silk screen help in this? Is silk screen washable and can be ironed? (My fabric is 100% cotton but light in every cm there is 22 threads in weft and 18 threads in warp) If yes What do I need to start ? how to make the silk screen mesh (if this is the right name) What inks are the best ? (washable and can be ironed) What machines do I need? ( I have only a heat press machine) I have to fix the logo for 250 garments /day ? any machines needed to make things fast and accurate? Is there a company which can give me a full solution? Best regards to allllll |
