I have a t shirt job, one color full front and names on the back. I want to use vinyl for the names on the back. (last year I did this job and screend each name --- then I discovered how easy vinyl was...) My question is, which product should I do first. I'm thinking screen then press the vinyl. Any thoughts?

I always screen print first, I think you have more of a chance to mess up on the screen print then the vinyl, and you can take the vinyl off if you do.
Definately screen print first. I you put vinyl first and run through a dryer make sure you get the shirt before it falls off the belt. Two pieces of hot vinyl could touch and stick together.

How do youtake the vinyl off if you mess up?? I have discarded tees before because I made a mistake in the vinyl pressing!
Oh, and to answer the original post... I always screen print first!
If you are using a dryer do the vinyl first the screen print. Sometimes when you press on the vinyl after screen printing the print fades and could stick to the pad of the press (unless you slide the shirt on the press and print the vinyl upside down.
Thanks for all the responses. I'm using a dryer on the screen print and a press on the vinyl. Great suggestion to slide the shirt over the press and put vinyl on upside down. That will keep the ink off the press. Thanks again...
