Re: heat gun A heat gun is generaly used to partially cure between ink colors; enough to when the next screen goes down, the ink layer is dry enough not to stick to screen. It's really effective when printing multi-color on nylon jackets when using a jacket hold down device.
However, as previous poster stated, the entire ink layer, all the way thru top to bottom, must reach whatever the cure temp of the ink you're using to fully & properly cure. Heat gun may be effective perhaps for a small left chest print, but larger full front or full rear designs will need at least a flash dryer, or better would be a conyevor dryer. |
