Yes it prints outstanding transparencies. I know, I own one. I use Kimoto Silkjet (I believe it's SC4) films and Canon brand inks. For my RIP, I use GhostScript/GhostView.
wait doesn't canon use pigmint inks and isn't kimoto silkjet not waterproof
or am i wrong
im just making sure before buying somethign but i heard someone else say they use kimoto
so im probably just worring to much haha :P
The Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 uses BOTH Pigment AND dye (as well as PHOTO colors). I takes 8 ink cartridges. Frankly, I prefer CLEAR film, not a "milky" film. Since I take very good care of my films, I don't NEED waterproof.
really ok cool thanks for the info on that
do you know anything about the hp 9800 cause it seems like a lot of people have that one
is it pretty good while using ghostrip
It is a very popular printer and I'm sure there are posts here about the HP9800. I DO know for a certainty that there are many posts about the HP9800, which films seems to work best, and how to download, install & use Ghost at this screen printing forum ~~~~~> TSPMB - The Screen Printers Message Board!
