I am also considering this. I was in their shop/showroom last week, talking with a sales guy, and it seemed like it would be extremely informative, even if alot of what you learns applies to using their equipment..
Dont get me wrong, Im sure alot of the screenprinting theory and techniques would be covered. Also, If I were ever to buy a rotary press, I would definetely consider a Lawson, they appeared to be quality ****.
The classes are worth it, I have been in the printing ind. for quite a while and I have Lawson equip. My fiance and I took the Textile Tech class-I now work for Lawson in the Digital Dept. and teach the art portion of their classes and assist Glen with Textile Tech on a monthly basis. I dont just say this cuz I work here...We fill up almost every month-and are here to help over the phone with problems also. I dont know about the dark class, that is one I dont see many people take.
so what do u think about the classes offered by w m plastics is this also a good class to take to get into screenprinting i mean i am fairly new to this ind. but i am very interested in making a serious carrer out of this
