Default Distressing from Photoshop to Illustrator.

I have a work that I created in Photoshop . The company I am working with wants the illustrator file and in order to give the same ''distressing'' look what should I do ?
I am attaching an image of my work and the image of what the company wants.
Also, I really do not want to recreate it in Illustrator because I know it takes a huge amount of time.
Any advices appreciated.

The left side is mine and the right side is what costumer wants.

Default Re: Distressing from Photoshop to Illustrator.

There's a "spatter" filter in Illustrator that will get a similar effect, or if you're using CS3, you could try taking your Photoshop file into Illustrator and try to use LiveTrace? That might be hard to get right... but it's worth a shot.
