Since when did VectorMagic start chargin for its service? Dont get me wrong it helped me out alot with alot of jobs and i know that good things dont last forever, but im gonna miss the free version......
vector magic was developed by a couple of grad students at Stanford..when their scholastic work was completed, they could not continue with the free use of school computer system, so they had to move to commercial operation. I suspect that you will see them either going public or being acquired by a larger operation in the next year or so.
they said that they're suppose to comeout with a desktop software soon. to tell you the truth i wouldnt have a problem purchasing it as long as the price is reasonable.
