tonight I just burnt my first screens.
Two to be more precise.
I received the screen printing package from Silkscreeningsupplies like a moth ago, and finally tonight I burnt it. The screen looks ok, I am just drying them, and tomorrow I will make a test print.
I didn't use the transparency film that comes with the package, instead I bought the film from Walmart, it can be used in laser and ink jet printers.
I printed the two color design on my Tektronix Phaser 740, I printed two of each, and it didn't shrink, at least I could align the registration marks very easily (remember it was my first time)

good luck....... what type light used for ur dark rooom...
I used a regular 500 Watts halogen, the one that came with the package.
A managed to assemble a exposure unit with a 400 Watts metal halide light I bought off craigslist, but I was unsure of the exposure time and distance, so I opted for using the halogen one, for now.

Today is the DAY !! in a little while I will start printing. Just came from work, having a little brake, and down to the basement to WORK !
The test print in a piece of black fabric came out Ok, then it was followed by a girl's purple tee, a brown tee and finally a black tee, ALL OK !!!
Hope to be able to post some pics soon.
With transfer paper I ruined several tees, however it didn't happen the same with vinyl, and now with plastisol. I couldn't be happier.
But I didn't give up on transfer paper.
