Default Step-by-step reclaiming

It's me again. I purchased used equipment and chemicals, and of course no step-by-step instructions and the proper way to do anything. Could someone please post the proper steps to take when reclaiming the screen and type of chemical used to do the job? I have so many chemicals I have no idea what to use and in what order. Thanks

what chemicals do you have and we'll be able to give you the rundown on what you have in the shop. make sure you get the brand name and whatever product names you can pull from the labels.

then we'll be able to help you out.

I would start by removing any tape used to mask off the outside edge of the screen.
Then spray an ink degradent on the screen, scrub gently, rinse.
Next spray on reclaimer and scrub gently, let it sit for a couple minutes or more depending on which remover you are using.
Then give it a good pressure washing. If any thing is left in the mesh you can repeat with the emulsion remover or try a little haze remover and pressure wash again.
Don't forget to degrease before you coat your screens again.

You can also use a dip tank that has a one step ink degradent/emulsion remover. This is what we use. just pull the tape off and into the tank. let it sit for 10 minutes or longer if you need to and pressure wash. We usaully have 5 screens soaking in the tank while shooting or taping up other screens.

I think there are some online videos somewhere that shows how to reclaim screens.
Do a search on this forum or google it, also check out UTube.
