Ok guys well I am now in a position where I will be burning my first ever screen.
As I am unsure of exposure time with my equipment I am going to do a step test to find correct exposure time. I have also printed two transparancies to make sure that my image is dark enough, I have been double clever and printed numbers on my transparancies, these numbers will correspond to the number of minutes each section is being exposed

Now hopefully when I wash the screen out I will have my answer looking at me!
Now I know this emulsion is light sensitive but how dark does the room which I am working need to be? Is sunlight my main enemy (not a problem as we don't get much in the U.K) or is a flourescent light being on, on the ceiling going to give me trouble also?
I have images of me fumbling around in the dark with a coating trough full of emulsion
Your advice please.
Phil
