Hi guys.

A question for the epson 3000 owners. Are you able to have just the black cartridge in the printer for it to work? Or do you need all colours in the printer for it to work? Im looking at just printing screen positives???

You have to have all 4 carts.
When one cart runs out the printer will stop until you replace with a full cart.
The printer uses all the colors to print black.

as monkey said you need all of them..
but you can open the printer and cut the leads to micro switchs..
or unplug them.. it is easy.. but opening the printer is difficult..
