hey everyone .. just wanted to get the opinions on here first I am also gonna post this in the graphic design forum unsure which will have the answer... I have a photo linked up here and i want to print it using half tones on a white t shirt prob pretty big its at 300dpi but pretty gritty.. I dont mind the grittyness if it will fine on a t-shirt. any suggestions or commentary would be great.. i wanted to use a different picture from the internet but printer said no can do with a 72 dpi pic... thanks

It's easier to fix greyscale photos than RGB. If it's gritty, you can always clean it up in Photoshop or Photopaint. 300dpi is more than you will need for screen printing. Personally, if it's not a lot of shirts, look for a guy with either a Brother or Kornit digital printer. The detail will be amazing.
